Sinadya sa Halaran Festival is a annual celebration of Capiz with the cooperation of the city of roxas and the province of capiz. This festival is prominent for both cultural and religious reasons. Every capizeño is proud to become part of this year 2009 Sinadya sa Halaran because this festival is rich with different activities like grand parade of festivals, fluvial parade, and the lighted river floaters. Sinadya sa Halaran is celebrated every first week of the month of December in honor of the feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion who also the patroness of this City.

 Aside from the different activities like fluvial parade, there is also seafood festival and grand pyrotechnic display. Last night, I witnessed a short fireworks display held in capiz gym. This year Sinadya sa Halaran 2009 is one the Roxas City’s important occasion because it is literally means thanksgiving and sharing for all the blessings received by the people of roxas city, not only roxas city but all the city in the province of capiz, and also to have enjoyment in this festivity. 

Go! Go! GO! Capiz.
